Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how All Docs (the “App”) collects, uses, and protects information. The App is designed so that your documents are handled directly on your device, and we only collect the minimum data needed to support core features such as subscriptions, analytics, and advertising. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
1) What We Collect
1.1 Essential service data
To keep the App running reliably and to support features like subscriptions, analytics, and ads, certain limited device and usage data may be processed, for example:
- Device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), IP address, operating system version, app version
- Basic in-app interaction signals (for example, ad impressions or clicks, subscription activation or cancellation)
1.2 Information we do not collect
- We do not ask for or store your name, phone number, or similar direct personal identifiers.
- We do not upload, read, or store the actual content of your PDFs or other documents on our own servers.
2) Files & On-Device Processing
Viewing, editing, and managing PDFs and other supported files are performed locally on your device. Your documents remain under your control at all times.
- Access you control: On Android (Google Play), the App uses the system file picker or scoped storage so you explicitly choose which files to open. On iOS (App Store), the App uses the iOS file picker to access only the items you select.
- No background scanning: The App does not automatically scan or index your storage without your action.
- Temporary data: Any temporary working files created while you edit or convert documents are removed after the process is finished or when the App is closed.
3) Ads & Personalization
The App may display advertisements from third-party ad networks (for example, Google AdMob). These partners can use device identifiers and in-app interaction data to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to show ads that are more relevant to you.
- You can adjust ad personalization preferences in your device settings (for example, by resetting or limiting the advertising ID).
- If you turn off personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they may be less tailored to your interests.
4) Purchases & Subscriptions
- Store billing only: All purchases and subscriptions are processed by the platform you use—Google Play on Android or the App Store on iOS. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Restore purchases: You can restore active subscriptions by signing in with the same store account on the same platform and using the restore purchase option (where available).
5) Permissions
The App requests only the permissions necessary to provide its core functions:
- File access: To open, edit, convert, and save documents that you choose.
- Network access: To load ads, validate purchases, check for updates, and support optional online services.
We use permissions solely for the purposes described above.
6) Data Security
- When data needs to be transmitted (for example, to app stores or ad providers), it is sent over encrypted connections where supported.
- We aim to minimize data collection and keep as much processing as possible on your device.
- You can revoke granted permissions in your device settings at any time; however, certain features may no longer work properly afterward.
7) Third-Party Services
The App may rely on the following categories of third-party services:
- Advertising networks (such as Google AdMob)
- In-app purchase and subscription billing (Google Play Billing, Apple In-App Purchases)
- Crash reporting and analytics tools (where enabled)
Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy, which governs its handling of data.
8) Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general use and is not specifically directed at children under the age at which parental consent is required by local law. We do not knowingly collect data from such users. If you believe that a child is using the App and has provided information, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate steps.
9) Your Choices
- Change advertising settings and preferences in your device’s system settings.
- Grant or revoke file access and other permissions at any time through your device settings.
- Uninstall the App if you wish to stop all data collection and processing by the App on your device.
10) Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, technical changes, or updates to legal requirements. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide an additional notice inside the App.
